Shakib has gone above and beyond what is expected of him to ensure that the Pega Digital team delivers best-in-class digital technology solutions. He does this while keeping all of the developers happy and motivated while they work under extreme pressure and challenging deadlines. What’s Shakib’s secret to success? He truly empowers his direct reports to take ownership of their work. He actively mentors dev managers, delivery managers, and architects within the group with empathy and rapport. He’s also open and communicative - never afraid to share bad news and find the right way to do so. And finally, he makes hard decisions when necessary for the wellbeing of the team and the projects they are working on. In the past year, under Shakib’s leadership, the Pega Digital IT team has achieved some incredible milestones.
