In U.S. healthcare, language barriers are a leading cause of health inequity, impeding accurate and effective communication between caregivers and their patients who do not speak English, and undermining access to quality care and treatment effectiveness. Jeenie addresses this systemic inequity by leveraging modern technology and a flexible workforce model to make high quality interpreting available for healthcare providers, as well as for Limited English Proficiency (LEP) and Deaf patients, in the moment of need and at the point of care.
